55018 waits in the snow at Bristol Temple Meads with the outward RPPR 'Deltic Ranger' tour from Paddington. Unfortunately the wintry elements (a major blizzard had occurred the previous night in the West Country) prevented the Organisers from taking a Deltic to Devon on this day and the tour returned as outward to Paddington. 55002 'The Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry' in the National Collection. 		55003 stands beneath the distinctive clock on Paddington's Platform 1 after arrival from Paignton with the returning RPPR 'Deltic Ranger'. This was a significant event as it had earlier featured the first appearance of the Class in Devon, a highly commendable feat thus finally achieved by the Organiser. Copyright Colin J. Marsden

05 March 1978 'The Deltic Ranger' rerun 		55022 on 1Z55 07.55 Kings Cross - Edinburgh RTC 'Autumn Highlander' charter hurrying along through heavy drizzle at Welwyn North 08.35 Friday 6 October 2006. Consist was 10 vehicles + 47245 on the rear. This was the first public outing for the engine from London following re-certification.
