D9000 with 47758 following a 22.45 arrival at Kings Cross Platform 1 on Sunday 22 December 1996 with 5Z19 Newcastle - KX test working comprising 418 tons plus the dead 47 making 537 tons. This was the first appearance of a Deltic at Kings Cross since the same locomotive arrived with the BR 'Deltic Scotsman Farewell' tour 14 years 11 months and 20 days previously on 2.1.82.
